I am seeking my third term as your Brazoria County Tax Assessor-Collector. My knowledge and experience in the county tax office, encompassing almost 24 years, uniquely qualifies me to continue serving the people of Brazoria County. These last 7.5 years as the elected tax assessor-collector have been the most challenging and the most rewarding. As our county has grown so has the tax office business. I have worked hard to do more with less by utilizing automation and new technology in order to stay abreast of the needs of our increased population. My goal is to continue to serve county citizens as efficiently and courteously as possible.
With 7 tax office locations throughout the county, I continue to make every effort to make it convenient for county residents to do business within or closer to their neighborhoods. 7 local businesses throughout the county have also been deputized to act as agents of the tax office in the area of motor vehicle registration. On-line motor vehicle registration is also available. The current and delinquent tax roll is available on-line for research and the payment of property taxes. The office accepts credit/debit cards over the internet and at the counter. Citizens can view all of this information by going to the tax office website at:
